This document has been prepared by the Department of Human Services (DHHS) and has been provided to your employer as a reference tool.

This document includes information which may be useful to you and all HWU members. Please distribute this information freely and widely amongst our HWU members, including on noticeboards.

The document includes information about:         

  • Payments during periods of absence of work, and clarity with regards to entitlements
  • WorkCover claims
  • Advice re casual employees required to self-isolate or not attend work
  • Overtime.
