Most people would have heard about the Federal Governments new Centrelink Automated Debt Recovery Program by now. This failed policy has been driven by the governments attempt to try and save some money to sure up their Budget Blowout. 

Their endeavour to claw back money from the underemployed, unemployed and disabled has caused stress for many Victorians, many of whom were already experiencing financial difficulty. Many people that have been caught up in this fiasco have been sharing their experiences on social media with the hashtag #notmydebt. We encourage HWU members that have been caught up in this farce to share their experience.
